RUG TUFTING TUFTED BIRD

This class will have a 1 hour finishing time on Sunday morning (no registration required) for anyone who needs a little extra time.
What You’ll Learn & Experience:
In this fun, beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll create a Tufted Bird Table Decor—a charming, dimensional accent perfect for brightening your space or gifting.
During the class, you will:
✅ Learn Tufting Fundamentals:
- Set up your tufting frame and stretch primary cloth
- Safely operate a tufting gun to fill in your bird design
- Choose yarn colors to bring your bird to life
✅ Explore Design Techniques:
- Transfer your bird template onto the canvas
- Practice outlining, filling, and sculpting to add texture and personality
- Experiment with color blocking and layering
✅ Develop Finishing Skills:
- Trim and shape the tufted surface for clean edges
- Back your piece for stability
- Mount your tufted bird onto a wood base or plaque to display on a table or shelf
