Transform thrifted, preloved or secondhand textiles into a one-of-a-kind hoodie! You can repurpose materials like quilts, blankets, curtains or a combination to create a unique piece of wearable art.
Bring your own textiles from home or be ready for a field to a local thrift store as Karen shares what she looks for when treasure hunting and how to imagine all of the possibilities for upcycling a hoodie or more! An oversized hoodie pattern in sizes XS-3XL will be provided!
A basic knowledge of using a sewing machine is required, making this project perfect for beginners, yet enjoyable for all skill levels with opportunities for customizing and embellishing. Join us to learn sustainable sewing tips and leave with a one-of-a-kind hoodie!
