Participants will be invited to touch, taste, smell and feel the plants were getting to know as we process dried herbs for tea blending and fresh plants for tinctures. Craft your own personal tea blend and concentrated herbal tincture to bulk up your home apothecary.

VISIBLE MENDING

Taking cues from the Japanese method of sashiko, we will be learning a few different types of visible mending. Running stitches, patches, weaving with thread, and some of the more decorative stitches will be demonstrated in this hands on workshop. No previous stitching knowledge needed. If you've got something that needs mended, bring it with you! Otherwise, we will have some fabric samples to practice with.
